M9 & Daylight savings time

Finally...

Well, here it is the M9, the big boy, real McCoy. What a great toy!

Just one problem, I paid for the watch over a year ago not knowing I would be waiting this long to receive it. Actually, I believed I would receive it sooner if I ordered it in Great Britain, which I did.

Which is where my problem begins. After caliberating the UTC to 5.0 to compensate for GB time zone, for which it was initially programmed, I was able to have a perfectly functioning time piece. Until today (daylight savings time).

I thought I would let sattelite atomic time change my watch so I turned on the GPS and waited (I don't know about anybody else but it sure takes along time to receive a signal here in NYC), after over 7 or 8 minutes I was connected and nothing happened. I thought it was odd but didn't think much of it until I turned off the GPS and changed the time manually. Then I turned the GPS back on only to change back one hour.

Am I doing something wrong? could it be that it was produced for the Great Britain market? or am I just a moron? Why does the GPS not set daylight savings time automatically?

Thanks,
Jacques
