This sound like a warrenty issue.
Go to
www.suuntousa.com, email them at
warranty@suuntousa.com or call them at 800-543-9124. They are the US Distributor, they can either warranty it if it is under 1 year old or refurbish it for anywhere from $35 to $50, which is really a great deal for all they do, it will come back like new.
