I'd like to buy my fiancee' (an avid sailor and all around active guy) a nice sports watch for our wedding (next week). I've been looking at the M9, but have some concerns based on some of what I've read on the website - especially around the computer software and the GPS.

Can anyone give me some good advice on a good sporty men's watch - and any specific advice on the M9?
