I think the
X9 would handle this fine, as long as you avoided pushing buttons while it was submerged. (It's rated as water resistant down to 330 feet.)
Also, I might mention that there's a 2-Year Warranty on
Suunto watches, so in the unlikely event of there being any trouble, you'd be covered.
