I'm glad to hear I'm not alone. I tested the alarm when I received it and at first couldn't hear it all due to very minor background noise (people talking). Once I walked into my office and closed the door I could make out a faint beeping sound which I finally realized it was my alarm. I agree, they should either improve it or remove it, because takes away from an otherwise excellent watch.
