I am planning a 10-12 day backwoods canoe trip into Canada and need some kind of field charging device. Using the GPS each day canoeing and portaging, I am estimating 5-6 days worth of battery life. There are several other trips I have planned that require a field charging device (backpacking trips, etc) and the device needs to be lightweight.
I have contacted Suunto and they have no such field charging device. The only charging means is via a PC or the wall wart (110v).
I have made up the schematics for such a device that can use several different input voltages ranging from 9v to 27v with the current being reduced to +5v @.5A using a IC chip.
Does anyone have the voltages and pinouts for the cable and X9Mi watch?
