My
X9i has been good for my soul. It's teaching me patience, persistence and self-denial.
The watch continues to charge incompletely and discharge rapidly, despite having been "repaired" - I sent it back to the service centre today. ]
And I can't get the Trek software to work. The problem occurs on calibration. I get an error when I attempt to enter an Easting:"LLtoGrid:EAccessViolation" followed by "Invalid Northing zone Zone letter must be N or S". This latter error message is inappropriate because I'm trying to enter an Easting, not a Northing (which shows a default "S" Zone letter in any case). Entering a Northing produces the same first error message, followed by (surprise surprise!): "Invalid UTM easting zone number. Zone must be a number between 01 and 60". Again, the error is inappropriate because I'm trying to enter a Northing, not at Easting.
Nothing I do gets me past this problem, which means the software is inoperative and, therefore, the watch is useless.
So far, the
X9i and its software work like a Russian car built on a Friday.
Can someone please give me some advice or can
Suunto improve in its, so far, awful performance?
