I'm trying to set up my new
X9i for use with US military maps and MGRS.
I installed the
Suunto program on my computer, and it is asking me to input the parameters I want to use:
* Deg & DM datum
* Grid
* utm & MGRS datum
* utc Offset
The map that I am using has this info in it's legend:
ELLIPSOID..................GEODETIC REFERENCE SYSTEM 1980
GRID.........................1,000 METER UTM ZONE 10
PROJECTION...............TRANSVERSE MERCATOR
VERTICAL DATUM........SEA LEVEL 1929
HORIZONTAL DATUM....NORTH AMERICAN DATUM 1983
PRINTED BY ...............DMA 7-90
G-M ANGLE.................20 DEGREES
Based on this info, what should I choose for the different parameters stated above?
