I must tell everyone out there, so far so good. It charged completely in less then six hours and has done everything it is made to do. I was thinking it would take a month of tinkering before I would be able to do anything, however, after playing with it for an hour and following the instructions I could not be happier.
In the next few days I will try the GPS and some routes. I still don’t understand how to get a map to appear in the Suunto-Track program. I will keep trying. If anyone has advice for me please about this please let me know. I am traveling in Serbia, Russia, Abkhazia and Georgia right now.
Thanks, | Not sure if there is a better way but I went to google and saved images of the area I am in and import it to the program. After that you just have to calibrate it. I used referance point and the lat/long from what google gave me. I use about 3 per map and it seemed to work good. When I load my tracks on the map they are accurate. |
