Welll - seems I've joined the forum just at the right time. I've had this problem three times now and finally sent it back to Finland. The repair place up in Scotland couldn't find the problem each time although it did mysteriously come back working again each time - for a few weeks at least.
Anyway the problem is (was with mine) - Errorcode 1 - 510210 battery Magnetised. Battery replaced - demagnetization and re-callibration of
compass.
