Hmm... Are you entering
training mode AND using the stopwatch each time? Each time you enter the
training mode, the
t3 should automatically search for the signal, OR if you use the stopwatch. Try one or the other individually. It can take a few seconds for the watch to pick up the signal. If all else looks right (battery in the transmitter, etc.), I'd consider giving
Suunto USA a call at 800-543-9124.
Sorry you're experiencing difficulties, especially after moving away from anoter brand due to quality problems. The issues you experience are definitely the exception to the rule for the
Suunto t-Series.
