Hi Suunto lovers or haters

I have a Suunto core and i have only had it for a very short while. Could anybody tell me the best way to keep it accurate. Is it best just to use an altitude reference if know or to use a pressure reference from a website. If so what website is proving the best. My friend thinks that the altitude reference is the best way. I am still getting used to how it all works any additional help would be very beneficial.
