Things you should know. The standard USB Pin arrangement does not work for Suunto watches. I called to see about getting some help and someone at Suunto USA Technical help sent me to

So I will not take any undue credit. But I followed his instructions and ended up with a fairly good results

I am using a Brunton Solar Roll which provides 18V (on a sunny day) of power that is brought down to 5.5V with a standard Car USB adapter.

So looking at the initial results. I am pretty pleased with the results..
