I'm having discrepancies in the EPOC, Calories & TE...
I asked
Suunto Support. This is the response:
- Personal background data may be different. Ensure that you always have identical personal data on t6c and in
Training Manager.
-
Training Manager is able to filter and correct the measured data more effectively than the t6c wrist unit. To improve the data quality, keep the chest
strap tight enough and electrode areas wet from the start.
Training Manager can correct some gaps in the data and thus gives higher TE than the t6c if data quality is bad.
-
Training Manager has the whole exercise data available for analysis. For each point of time, it can take into account also the next heart beats, which is naturally impossible for a real time measurement. The t6c has to calculate the values with less data than is available for the PC analysis.
- Remember that the whole point of these functions is to help you to manage your
training during the session and to give you good information to plan the next
training sessions in an optimal way. Small differences in the values do not compromise this target.
