I don't quote the theory (like you!), I just showing the evidences of what Suunto Core is capable.

And my Core survived (until now) more than 100 free dives to depth from 10-20 meters (measured with Suunto D6, dive computer), without pressing buttons while more than 1 meter deep. And sadly, depth meter on Core measure depth only to 12 meters.
