You bring up a good point that I just realized because of your thread. I guess Suunto has figured that you can delete the logbook history data on your PC. So, they have made it so that on the Wristop that "The logbook history contains the cumulative values of ascents and descents and the highest point of all logbooks (hiking and chrono) during the X6 lifetime" according to the owners manual. They have made the logbook history mode so that it can not cleared or reset like the total miles of an odometer on a car. This is a great feature if you have climbed one of the world's major mountains and want to show your friend's that you summited that peak with proof in the logbook history mode. You can't accidently erase this important data. All other Suunto Wristop models would erase this highest point when the logbook history was cleared.
