wow I never thought to put laps this big into the watch, maybe cos I am runner, but what I use autolap for, is eventually more interesting. As far as I know we have 50 laps, that means for me if I run 10km, I divide 10000 by 50 to get 200 and this is the parameter I set autolap. In the end I get every 200m an average bpm and average speed and so on. The data is now much more acurate as having the real lap distance in the watch. (the real lap distance, u can calculate based on the collected data.
Hope this is an interesting option.
