Smile Coded heart transmitter belt?

Is the Suunto transmitter belt for the X6-HR coded like the T-61 belt from Polar? This is important in group training situations, where there are more than one heart rate monitor in use at the same time.

Yes they are coded for the unit they are used with.

are you really sure about that, malcolm?

the coded tansmission is not featured in the manual or elsewhere.

the heart rate receiver in the watch seems to be very sensitive, as it also detects non coded "heart rate noise" by electrosmog around.

so far the x6hr works better (less artefacts, more sensitive) than the Polar S810 I previously owned.

It would be good news if the X6HR transmission would be coded, but I doubt it....

Could you add some information (source?) ?

Thanks

lobi

Ok, let me clarify this, as there has been some confusion. NO they are not coded, but Suunto wristops will work with coded HR belts from say Polar.

Hope that helps,
