batteries

I have an x6 that is a little over a year old. Is it normal for it to go through a new battery every other day? Is the Suunto x6 an expensive piece of junk? Lastly, are all the Suunto's that hard on batteries?

No, that's not normal at all. Your battery, even with heavy backlight and compass use, should last for months. It sounds like there is a problem with your unit that is draining your power; I'd contact Suunto to see about getting it fixed.

To get the ball rolling, go to http://www.suuntousa.com/service.htm and fill out the form provided.

Battery Drain

The easiest way to drain your battery is to leave your watch connected to your computer ALL night. If have done it a couple time in the past 3 years with my T6. With in a few workouts the watch will need a new battery.

I therefore try to disconnect my watch as soon as I am done downloading file to my computer.

Hope this helps......
