First experiences with PODs...

Hi, there!

Who has got first experiences with the new t6 PODs and would like to let us know?

According to Suuntoīs homepage there will be a cooperation between Suunto and the FIS. The worldīs best cross-country-skiers will wear the t6 and data will be transmitted online and "on(TV)screen - including speed and distance data - a hint for another upcoming POD - "skispeedPOD"??

How could that work - via radar as the RDS from ciclosport?

greetings

lobi

Footpod is just great!

Really amazing - this new technology!

The footpod works right out of the package. After "deflorating" my t6 (new speed/distance mode after pairing with POD visible) I went for my first 8,56 km with no problems at all - especially the AUTOLAP function is worth mentioning (a lap time each kilometer - thatīs what I have set it)

Great job, Suunto!

Great tool - But

I've been using my POD 10 times now and it is a great tool - no doubt. But four times it suddenly lost the contact to the watch after 2 miles. The contact was not fully recovered and thus when I got back from my run the watch was missing 3 out of 6 miles.

It seems like the connection is vunerable to lap times. It has happend just after I've pushed the lap button.

Even though I've started with a PAIR and then CONNECT the connection was still lost.

When it works it is great and precise - more than 99% when calibrated

Anybody else experienced connection problems?

SHSS
