Hi - I am planning to buy a Suunto Titanium Observer TT/TT. I live in India and there aren't many good servicing options here. Judging by the posts, it seems that I should prepare myself to expect that the original strap is likely to break within 6-12 months. If that happens, and I do not want to spend $100 per each addl strap, I want to explore buying an extra Elastomer strap so I can get that fixed to my Observer TT if and when by original TT strap breaks.

Question - has anyone done this i.e. fix a normal Observer elastomer strap to the Observer TT? If yes, does it fit the watch correctly? Any issues?
