I'm about to purchase a Heart rate monitor for the first time and I'm having a tough time deciding between the
suunto t4c and the polar ft60. I'm more inclined towards the
suunto, but I have a question regarding its "
training mode" and "
training effect". What are they exactly? Is it like the polar ft60, where you tell the monitor what kind of
training you want to do (fat loss, improve fitness level etc) and then the coach tailors a
training program for you so that you achieve what you want? What kind of
training options does the
suunto t4c cover? I heard somewhere that one of the options you can choose to train is "endurance". Anyone know what are the other ones?
