Hi there, hope someone can help.
I have had my
X9i for a week now, and we have had a high pressue system over us during that period. However, on my weather log, there are occasional drop-outs or peaks which look obviously wrong. Does anyone know why this might happen?
Secondly, why does the
X9i show pressure at sea level (i.e. an estimate) rather than the actual pressure at your location (I live at 1200 above sea level).
Finally, one more dumb question...other altimeter watches I have had try to guess what pressure changes are due to weather, and what pressure changes are due to changing altitude. However, am I right in thinking that the
X9i assumes you are either stationary (and therefore pressure change is due to weather) or moving (in which case pressure change is due to altitude)? If this is the case, what happens if you are moving AND the weather is changing?
Thanks in advance...
