Exclamation An iTalk error has occured: (0x8027) Illegal id

Does anybody know how to solve this error message.
I have tried the program on 2 different computers and get the same error.

You aren't giving enough info. Where are you seeing the error code, on a computer? on your watch?

error message

I get the same error when trying to download routes from the X9i in Memory Map software,

Any Thoughts on the problem??

It sounds like a problem with the software you are using to communicate your X9 to the mapping software that you are using.

I don't quite know what program you are using but I do not get that when I connect to the Suunto Trip Advisor, nor to Google Earth, or (in the States) the Nat'l Geographic State Series.

The problem occures when you try to go in to the log while it's recording
