Waypoints

I would like to enter a course on my M9. I have all the way points and I follow the manual's instructions but I still don't know how.

In "My Waypoints", when I select a "suitable number", 1 for example as the most frequently used, there is another number right next to it (18.5) which is not explained in the manual. I would like to enter all the New York Harbor buoy locations into my M9.

Can someone assist please?

All I was told was that the 18.5 is the date when I entered the waypoint, and was told to look at the manual for rest.
