Question about the M9.

I'd like to buy my fiancee' (an avid sailor and all around active guy) a nice sports watch for our wedding (next week). I've been looking at the M9, but have some concerns based on some of what I've read on the website - especially around the computer software and the GPS.

Can anyone give me some good advice on a good sporty men's watch - and any specific advice on the M9?

M9 is innovative but not quite there yet. Any good handheld GPS from Garmin will outdo the M9 in terms of quick performance and just giving more navigable information for less money. Suunto needs to lower its prices on these watches to be competitive. Suggest Garmin GPS 76S or (color) GPS 76CS avail in a few months. Also, the M9 is a big watch for the wrist - may not appeal to everybody.
