On the Vector, if you hold the select button down while
'LO xx' is flashing the watch displays 'bEG'. Does anyone know what this mode is for.

You can actually go through that individual log and look at each recording interval. The Vector comes preset to record altimeter readings every 60 seconds (The inverval can be changed for 20 seconds, 60 seconds, 10 minutes or 60 minutes. 60 seconds is the best overal recording interval. 20 seconds uses 3X the memory and 60 minutes is too slow to record fast events like skiing.) So, you can press the + or bottom right button in this mode to look at your altimeter readings and ascent rates every 60 seconds in the log. This is how it adds up your total vertical for a log and is thus called a "Wristop Computer".
