Can't turn Suunto Vector on!

I recently sold my Suunto Vector to another person.
When i mailed it, it was in the original box, and i packed the watch in bubblewrap, taped the box nicely together, so it wouldn't pop open or anything. So the shipping should have gone just nicely.
BUT, when the guy had received the watch, he called me up, and said that he couldn't turn it on...
And I never even turned it off, it was working just fine when i posted it.
Maybe he doesn't know how, but he said he read the instructions manual, and that he still couldn't get it on...

Anyone have any ideas??

It very well could be the battery in transit was knocked loose. Have him check to make sure the battery backing is on. If not, please contact Suunto directly at 800-543-9124 to see if they have a resolution for you.
