Getting the Most out of my Vector

hello all!!

I was just issued in my unit a suunto vector foliage green with the negitive face. My question is after i have callibrated my compass and set the ref altitude what next what can i do to get the most out my vector for daily use as well as out in the field... How accurate is this watch in terms of barometer and altimeter... Any information will do Thanks

The Vector is definitely a capable watch, and still easily one of Suunto's biggest sellers. IME, barometer finction has been rather accurate. Altimeter can be a little shaky if weather is up and down, as it partly relies on barometric pressure for calculation.
