X-lander Military 2007?

Hi All,

I saw this image of the new X-lander Military in National Geographic Adventure, but can't seem to find it online. All I find, including from this site, is the older model (2006 and earlier?)

See the version I'm talking about in this link. Anyone know about availability?

this looks to be a doctored photo. if you look closely, several of the watches have really bright numerals. this was probably done to make the letters look brighter for the purposes of photography..

This was the X-lander from the 'black' collection (they also did the observer).

Are the black x-landers just on back order or have they quit producing them? I think that I should have one on backorder (direct with Suunto)

Everything that is currently available from Suunto in the USA (and I don't know of any items available internationally that are not in the USA) is listed on Suuntowatches.com.

This also includes pre-orderable items, about 2 months prior to estimated availability in the US.

If its not listed, I doubt it will be coming back - the black series is/was a limited edition from the start.

The xlander in all black is not part of the black collection, but rather part of the military collection, and is currently available and shipping ($349).

Thanks.. Mine just came in. It does have really good contrast, but isn't quite as dramatic as the picture posted at the top of this topic..
