| Altimter question for the Vector I just got the Vector and I am still trying to figure out a way to use it efficiently. To what I understand, the altimeter reading is based on the barometer value. The barometer readings can be calibrated by adjusting the sea level barometric pressure, which we can obtain through weather channels and such (I hope I am right on this...) Since the sea level pressure changes throughout the day. If I set calibrated it in the morning and head up the ski slope. It would be off later on in the afternoon and my altitude readings will also be off then, right? Is there any suggestions of how to utilize this tool so I can get somewhat accurate readings? Thanks |
