Vector's logbook maths

Hello!
I don't understand my Vector's maths:
Example: I record a Log book
The results are: Asc 35m (27 m/s), dSC 35m (-35 m/s).
OK.
Now I hold the select button down while 'LO xx' is flashing and the watch displays 'bEG'. Scrolling, I find the values for the altitude (meters): 80,90,95,90,85,80,75,85,95,90,85,80,75. (I ignore here the ascent/descent rates). It's easy to see that the real ASC is 35m and dSC is 40m!
And Vector reports in the log book ASC 35, dSC 35.
Why?
There are cases in which the differences are bigger (30 - 40) meters.
Is my Vector out of order?

Thank you very much,
Alex Stoicia

The readings you give are saying Dsc that you descended 35 meters. And that you ascended 35. My guess is that you returned to the same place that you started. If you feel you did more than that call Suunto Tech support @ 1800-543-9124 If you do 3000 meters it should tell you that is what you did. So if it is not recording correctly give Suunto a call.
