Bezel Ring

Anyone else have a bezel ring that clicks or seems loose? I got the Core (Black/Orange). God the band is Fugly!!

That was my feeling too when I was checking out the Core watches at the store. The bezel rings on all the watches seemed loose and somehow flimsy...

I got mine from DataVision..bezel loose and rattle. I already have posted this question on watchuseek.com under Suunto

I just ordered a Core (Black/Orange) and I sure hope mine doesn't have the problems described here.

I didn't have a chance to play with one at a store. I ordered it because:

a) I have a Vector, which I think is excellent (but confusing to operate)

b) I thought the black/orange Core looked really cool in pictures

I guess we'll see when it arrives.

Well, it's here! And the bezel is excellent. I find the resistance to be perfect. It's a bit notchier than my Rolex Submariner, but that's ok.

The Core is very easy to set, and the big orange numbers are much easier to see than the ones on my Vector.

The only thing that surprised me about the watch is that the orange strap doesn't really look like the pictures on the web site. On the Suunto site, it looks like a yellow-orange. In reality, it's day-glo orange. Perfect for Halloween tonight, though. I might order the brown strap for it. I think that would be a great combination.

So thanks very much to Suunto for meeting my expectations with another great watch.

The bevel seems fine on my watch, i assume Suunto fixed the majority of problems and now they are coming out somewhat good.
