| Baro Set up I have had my Suunto Core for a few months. I live in Guatemala City which is at 5000ft ASL and I want to calibrate my baro. I call to the national weather center and in the moment that I called the Atmospheric pressure was at 684hPa. I try to calibrate my Core to this pressure and I realize that I cannot calibrate my watch under 900hPa. Can someone help me on this issue? When I set it at the altimeter mode it marks that I have a atmospheric pressure of 1021hPa in an altitude of 4944ft. Thanks, pex |

| I think the figure you got from the station is probably Absolute pressure, and the Core measures Relative pressure. You need to find the Relative Pressure where your at. I would manually input the 5000 ft altitude, on your Core. I think you'll find that the Relative pressure will be right. You just need a site that will give you the Relative pressure, so you can double check that your Core is right. Regards Sonny Last edited by SonnyD; 03-26-2008 at 09:42 PM. |
