X-Lander Military vs. Core

I'm debating between buying a X-Lander military edition or waiting for a new Black/Yellow Core. Any thoughts on the choice between the two? Thanks!

Both models share Suunto's ABCs (altimeter, barometer, compass), but the Core adds a number of new features including a storm alarm, sunrise/sunset times, etc.. If you don't desire the additional functions of the Core, the decision will largely come down to which you prefer the looks of better.

Core

I'm in the same position as you. I'm leaning towards the black/orange core and changing the band. My main question is whether the core will have the same case measurements as the vector. I already own the vector, so i'm hoping there is some difference. maybe a thinner case?

me too

I come from china and I'm a colledge student.

So I'm working on this question too. I have to choose one of them.
The core has much new looks, more functions, like the sotorm alm ect.
But I have been told that, the core's compass works on a not vary professional way. I dont know the main idea.
Long before,I read some user's idea,he said that the sorftware using in the core had some bugs,But before long, the commpany had solved the problems.
The must important thing is that, the core is made in China, but the X-Lander Military is in the local area.
If you want use it as a diving watch, I think the X-Lander is the better one, because you can't press any key of the core when you are diving, but the X-Lander.
Last,I want to read more idea, thanks!
