Unhappy temperature reading inaccurate

Hi,

I just purchased a new X6 watch and I am really unhappy about the temperature reading getting affected by body heat when you are wearing the watch. Can somebody tell me how to avoid that and if not is the reading when it is not on my wrist accurate?

What's the difference than paying $350 as compared to a Casio for $150?

Thanks.

All watches need to be off of the wrist and in the shade for about 10 - 15 minutes to get an accurate ambient temperature. Casio does not offer near the features of any Suunto Wristop. You can not track your accumulative vertical feet with any Casio Triple Sensor product. Casio does not offer a PC interface to download and store all of your altimeter and barometric data like your X6. Casio does not offer a user replaceable battery kit that includes a new cover, battery and "o" ring for a nominal price. Compare compass accuracy between any Suunto Wristop and all competitors. I think you'll be amazed in the difference between manufacturers. Your X6 is the first watch I know of that offers a clinometer (slope angle) as one of its features. I suggest you read your owners manual to fully learn all the features of this incredible outdoor tool. These are just a few off the reasons why Suunto Wristops are chosen for use in serious expeditions and by Eco Challenge athletes.
