stinger battery change

Does anyone know how difficult it is to change the battery in a stinger yourself? Are new o-rings needed. Is the battery standard or Suunto properiatry?

I never dare to try in fear of messing something up internally, like the water seal. Suunto does say it needs to be serviced by a dive shop.
