Leather Band?

Does anyone have any experience with this band yet? I really like the looks, but am afraid it's going to get a little ripe with everyday use. Also, how will it hold up getting wet and drying? A stinky dry rotted band will certainly suck

I want the Ti watch, but sort of want the elastomer band if the leather won't work. I'm assuming the replacement band would fit both SS and Ti but that just adds to the cost.

Thanks in advance.

As with all leather bands, it will wear and age with use. I never had a problem with mine going 'ripe' but it did get a stressed leather look after some time. Mine has not dry rotted and I wore it day and night for over a 6 month period, including swim classes and daily showers.

The elastomer bank will fit the TI, however changing bands is not easy. Best to bring it to a jewler or wrist watch band shop.

Wow, fast answer, thanks for being so prompt. I'm certainly ok with it aging so that sounds pretty good. Thanks again, great service.

John.
