Just got this and noticed the "R" when the day reads FR (Friday) does not have a complete "leg" on the R - It looks more like a P...Is this normal?

When other characters are displayed in the "R's" slot, do they illuminate correctly? Just trying to go on what I think you're explaining.

I believe it is just the "look" of the R in FRI - all other days of week and illuminosity looks fine - perhaps a picture of another observer displaying FRI would assist me?

Just reading your post, and realized it was Friday - looked at my observer and the leg of the R is defiantly light/small - however - I think it is actually a very small lcd, much smaller then the rest of the parts of the R, so I think that is the way it was meant to be.
