What's the difference in weight (titanium and stainless)

What's the difference in weight between the stainless steel model and the titanium model. I'm trying to determine if it's worth the extra cost to go with the titanium model.

Stain/Elast 2.9 oz.
Stain/Stain 3.6 oz.
Tita/Tita 3.1 oz.

Also, the Titanium is duller in color vs. the Stainless that has more of a shiney look. I wear teh Titanium with an elastomer band, which you can do by purchasing the elastomer band separately for $20 and replacing it yourself or with a watch jewler.

I too am looking to pick up a Ti Observer and put the elastomer band on it. What is the weight of this set-up?

Also, are there any other Suunto style bands that will fit the Observer?

Can any others be modified to fit the Observer with minor trimming?
