Observer band

I recently purchased the Observer Titanium and it has lived up to my expectations. However, the metal/rubber band is not nearly as attractive as the X-Lander's black leather band. Is there a leather band available for the Observer (either made by Suunto or someone else)? The only options I've found are the metal/rubber and elastic ones that come in the Observer models.

Currently the only options are the metal or Elastomer band. You would likely be able to find an leather band that would fit, but because of the tight fit of the Observer strap, I'm not sure it would look very good.

I read a message about the stainless steel band for the Observer and its sizing.
1. Can you size this band, i.e. add/remove links?
If not, what are the alternatives?
2. Can you provide band dimensions?
3. Does the S.S. band have a locking clasp like some other high-end watches?
I prefer the S.S. band because of its looks. Your response will be the determining factor for me to purchase the Observer S.S. model.

Yes, you can remove links and size the S.S. Observer band. It has "buttons" on each side of the clasp that need to be pushed to open the clasp. The S.S. Observer band can be sized from approximately 5.5" to 8".
