SAM will not load When loading my SAM I get the message "The system DLL user32.dll had relocated in memory.....Contact vendor for new DLL." Any suggestions. I do not want to uninstall my SAM and lose (?) all of my history. TIA

How to fix this.... Do a search under this problem in Microsoft's database. This is usually a result of an update to windows xt. I first tired to fix it by reloading the Suunto software -- that did not work. Then I did Google search and forund Certain programs may not start, and you receive an error message on a computer that is running Windows XP Service Pack 2: "Illegal System DLL Relocation" which addresses the problem.

RoadCoach, thanks for the help. I can now load the program but it prompts me to create a new username/password. But then it says: Operation not allowed when the object is closed. TAdoKoiRaImpl!:Insert Record So could use some more of your help. Thanks!

Continuing problem I did not have this problem, so I really do not know what to do. I would remove SAM and reinstall from scratch. This will erase any saved SAM logs so be careful to save them elsewhere before you do this. Let me know how it goes.

I have no idea --I learned the hard way that they were not saved when I reloaded SAM in the same directory. Perhaps you can experiment by loading SAM in a different directory, and then try coping over the likely files. Or ask SUUNTO for advice.

| Here is what Suunto sent me to fix the problem! Subject--------------------------------------------------------------- ERROR "TrainingManager.exe - Illegal System DLL Relocation" Discussion Thread --------------------------------------------------------------- Response (Mihoko Fukuta) - 04/11/2007 08:48 PM Dear Sir, Thank you for contacting Suunto. The Windows automatic update on your PC is causing the problem you have encountered with the Suunto Training Manager software. Microsoft has already issued a "hotfix" for this, which can be downloaded from their knowledgebase article 935448. Link is: Certain programs may not start, and you receive an error message on a computer that is running Windows XP Service Pack 2: "Illegal System DLL Relocation" Please remember to choose the correct language, otherwise the installation will fail.
