I have had my X6 for just over a month or so now and regularly use the Logbook functionality. Starting four days ago, I now receive the error 'Defrag of Memory' every evening whenever I do something simple on the watch like changing modes. I tried deleting all the logbook files but I still receive the error. After the 'Defrag of Memory' error goes away the time, date, altitude, etc are all reset. Has anybody else had this error? I am wondering if it is a problem with the software.

This is a new one to me. Please call Suunto USA (800-543-9124) and ask for Technical Support. I'm sorry that I can't help you on this issue. AltimeterGuy

It may be possible your battery or battery cover is loose, because I know the watches say "defrag of memory" when coming back on after the battery is changed, after which the time, date, setting, etc are all reset
