| Accuracy of heart rate monitoring for X6HRM Hi, I got my new X6HRM yesterday. I tried to to monitor my heart rate and didn't like what I see from the watch. When I was rest the watch reads between 68-72, when I test the pulse by myself it is about 60. I am a marathon runner, not in the shape I want to be, but I was able to complete the half marathon in 9 minutes pace 2 weeks ago. I guess my heart rate should be somewhere between 50-60. Today, I tried to run with it. My heart rate was jumping between 90-180. The watch could be at 180 now, then one minute late, it becomes 90. What is wrong? Thanks! |

| Easy to test the unit The transmitter strap works with most heart rate receivers found on exercise equiment such as tredmills and elliptic trainers. You can test out the accuracy of the strap at your local gym. ![]() At least you can test out the strap this way. I have purchased replacement straps on eBay for the X6HR -- almost any generic strap works with the unit. I am presently using a Rbk strap I purchsed on Woot for $15 (it included a watch as well.)
