Contrast on X6

The contrast on my X6 seems to dark, as I can see vertical lines of dark pixels up the center of the screen and the square border around the screen where the numbers are displayed. It is a bit annoying at times.
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and I am assuming that it is not possible to adjust the contrast unless anyone has any secret tips!!

At this time I do not know of a way to adjust contrast. I do know that the dot matrix LCD on the X6 is much easier to read at an angle than all prior Suunto wristop models.
