Question X6 vs X6hr

Has X6hr the same alti/baro/compass functionality like X6 ? (number of function, memory, ...) I'm using Casio PRO-TREK now but I want to buy Suunto (Suunto looks much better...) I would like to be shure that HR-functionality at X6hr model does not cause a less functionality of others functions.

Best regards
Laszlo

The X6HR is basically the X6 with the addition of the heart rate monitor function. It still has all the other functions of the X6. It is amazing what you can do with the PC software with the X6HR.

Question

OK but what about memory ? Is the HR-function using own separate memory (eg. 4h20min at 2 sek. HR) or maybe the watch-memory is sharing for all functions ?

Regards
Maciej

The HR memory is in the Chrono log. There is also chrono log with the X6. In otherwards, The HR memory is shared with other functions in the X6HR. I hope this helps, but I don't really understand your question.

Thank You.
It is exactly what I want to know: that X6hr has the same capacity of memory alike X6. I would like to make sure It doesn't change my opinion that X6hr is the best watch for "outdoor" use like mountaineering.

Regards
Maciej

ps. I will buy this watch as soon as it will be available.

They are arriving soon, like maybe in a few days. We expect them byt the 26th of August. You may consider ordering now to get on the list, just food for thought.

To find a dealer, go to www.suunto.com and there is a section to find a dealer in your country. But we can ship one to you for $20USD via FedEx, usually only takes a couple of days. We ship out internationally all the time.
Thanks, hope that helps,
