X6hr won't maintain current settings

I have an X6hr and the watch will reset itself randomly and repeatedly back to the same time and date years in the past. I have always wanted to go back in time but this just doesn't work for me. The watch has a fresh battery and all functions work correctly. I have yet to see a thread that mentions anyone else having this problem. Unfortunately I am beyond the warranty time frame.

Another unrelated note- My X-Lander is a great watch and have not had a single problem with the electronics but I have had to change the band three times in the last four years. For a watch that is designed for outdoor activities it came with a band that is designed for use indoors only. I have heard many folks complain about the band on the x-landers.

I have had an X-lander and had it first on the leather band. I sent it in for spa treatment and it came back on a fabric band (which I really like) and now I wear the Mil x-lander on the resin strap- By far my favorite bad for this watch...

as for the watch, send it in for evaluation, at most it should only be 75 usd for a spa treatment which should solve the issue.. they may fix it for free..

I am having the exact same problem. The watch randomly resets itself, and it is happening more often after 3yrs of occasion wear. I placed a new battery in there and it makes no difference at all. Just wonder if it is a common problem which can be rectified.
