Unhappy X6HR - Suunto button problem

purchased the X6HR and love the features. however, the Suunto button is somewhat speradic and often performs multiple actions. for example, instead of a quick press i often get the equivelant of "up/Suunto" combination. this can do crazy things like increasing a value and then accepting it or entering the previous menu.

if i am cautious and very deliberate i can get the Suunto button to correctly perform a short press. i have not gotten a long press to work properly with the Suunto button yet. this doesn't seem acceptable "in the field" when you need the thing to do what was intended - the first time.

has anyone ever seen this? only the Suunto does this and all other features and buttons are fine.

thanks!

-matt

Hi Matt,

My two months old X6 also has the same problem. My retailer is looking into the problem for me.

Regards,
EL.

X6HR Button Problem

The best bet would be to contact Suunto directly,
(800) 543-9124

Hopefully they can shed some light on this problem.
