S6 Power supply/reset issue

Hi Everyone,
I've recently sent off a mail order for a Suunto S6 and I'm a little spooked by the power reset issue that seems to be plaguing the model.

Does anyone know if the root cause of this has been resolved, and if so is it reasonable to expect that new models on the shelves now have had this problem fixed?

Yes, the problems were with the first batches released in September through November, but the issues have not come up since the problem was addressed and fixed by suunto!
