SAM makes me cry -not worth the money

Even after upgrading to SAM2.2 this software makes every athlet cry - why make that fuss about a computer interface and then get only 2 little curves and NO calendar, REPORT FUNCTION and decent ANALYSIS like in the superb POLAR PRECISION PERFORMANCE.

Read my email to SUUNTO and support me in creating some pressure to finally create some decent training software by posting your opinion considering this issue:

Dear Suunto-Team!

A few months ago I purchased your X6HR after owning a POLAR S810.

Your watch looks much better, can be used better in daily life and your Altitude/barometer is very accurate. But considering that you would expect a decent software in such an "prosumer"-level HRM the SAM is a shame, even after the upgrade to 2.2-version.

I do not need a HRM just to see my heart rate curve; as a medical doctor I want to do statistics, analysis and report function as the POLAR watches have. Otherwise I would not even care to download the data.

WAKE UP, SUUNTO !!

Yor customers and the high price for your gear deserve a decent software. If you cannot programme it, buy it from POLAR (as you did with your transmitter belts and as POLAR does with your altitude sensor)

As my watch has the infamous SUUNTO-"Reset"-error, I am seriously thinking of an exchange and return for a POLAR-watch (although they are ugly except for the S720i).

Please do something about this issue or you will loose more and more of athlets interested in real data collection or analysis.

Maybe there is a cheap way to create a "SUUNTO"-plugin for the superb POLAR PRECISION PERFORMANCE 4.0.
The data collected by the watch is just a series of heartrate, altitude, temperature and pressure numbers -come on, it cannot be that difficult.

Furthermore the design and the features of SAM 2.2 is not really userfriendly - for the last time, please take a look at POLAR (I posted this plea for at least 4 times in this forum)

The SAM design is - politely stated - uncommon.

It is - sorry, SUUNTO, ugly; but what´s even worse, user-unfriendly.

The main feature missing is a calendar!

Please add this feature and a decent graphic interface and people really might like your software.

I wrote all these suggestions months ago in your forum at suuntosport -the only thing you did, was to add a SAM-discussion group - as I asked you, thanks!.
Many other users asked for the same improvements or changes.
I think nobody would be sad if you dump SAM 2.2 and come up with a total new version including a calendar ( this would elliminate the not very logical"folders") and report functions.
